主要研究方向有:

1、3D 打印技术与装备研发,包括:金属零件激光选区熔化(SLM)装备,激光选区烧结(SLS)设备装备,激光熔覆设备,等离子增材复合铣削减材设备;

2、激光选区熔化的医学应用,包括:激光选区熔化3D打印在牙科个性化舌侧正畸托槽、个性化牙冠固定桥以及种植牙手术导板;全膝置换用人工关节3D打印个性化设计、验证和加工;外科手术模板;个性化植入体等医学应用。

3、激光选区熔化的科学问题,包括:制造多种材料零件工艺研发以及异种材料结合界面研究;激光选区熔化在超材料领域的应用;4D打印等。

4、等离子增材制造复合铣削。

5、激光选区烧结在核电行业的应用。

本团队为华南理工大学增材制造实验室,团队核心成员于2002年开始进行金属零件的增材制造技术研究开发工作,是我国最早开展激光选区熔化技术的研究团队之一,至今已研发生产有激光选区熔化设备DiMetal 50, DiMetal 100,DiMetal 300,DiMetal 500等;激光烧结设备Laseradd SLS-400;LASERADD-PR-500机器人等离子增减材设备。
